Caregiver of the Month – February 2025

We are honored to recognize Julie as our Caregiver of the Month for February 2025!

Julie exemplifies what it means to provide compassionate, relationship-based care. Her journey with one of our dear clients, Sandy, is a beautiful testament to the depth of connection our caregivers create. From her second-ever visit with Sandy to the final hours of Sandy’s life, Julie was a steady and comforting presence.

Even during Sandy’s hospitalization, Julie went above and beyond to be there. On one visit, we watched in awe as Julie gently calmed Sandy’s anxieties, responding to her questions with softness and empathy. It was evident how much Sandy trusted Julie—her familiar face brought peace during a time of uncertainty. The bond they shared was truly remarkable, and Sandy’s daughter, Ramona, expressed her gratitude time and time again for Julie’s care and the support from the entire inHom Senior Care team during a season of great change.

Julie’s dedication doesn’t stop there. Just last week, Sue and Melissa had the joy of surprising her on shift with clients Jane and John. Though she was out running errands when they arrived, they enjoyed a lovely visit with Jane and John, who were more than happy to wait and celebrate when Julie returned. Julie was genuinely surprised—and touched—to learn she had been chosen as Caregiver of the Month!

Jane also shared how much they adore all the caregivers who have supported them recently, especially Julie. Their feedback reinforces what we already know—Julie’s care is deeply valued and appreciated.

Julie has been a part of the inHom family since July 2022 and is truly loved by everyone she meets. Her kindness, professionalism, and ability to build trusting relationships make her an outstanding caregiver and an even better human being.
