April 2025 Caregiver of the Month: Yuliia

We are thrilled to celebrate Yuliia as our April Caregiver of the Month!

Yuliia joined inHom Senior Care in March 2023, and from day one, she has brought warmth, compassion, and a radiant spirit to every home she enters. Loved by every client she meets, Yuliia has a unique gift for forming deep, meaningful connections with the families she serves.

One of those families is the family of Ray and Kittie. Over the past year, Yuliia has become a vital part of their lives, especially as their beloved Kittie has experienced health changes and navigated end of life Yulia was with Kittie every step of the way. Lisa, Kittie’s daughter, has shared with us many times just how special Yuliia is—not just to her mother, but to their entire family. “We tell her every time she’s over,” Lisa laughs. “She already knows!”

As Kittie’s condition progressed, Yuliia was not only a caregiver but a true companion to the family—offering strength, comfort, and even joining Lisa and Ray in heartfelt moments of shared tears and embraces. Her presence brought peace to their home. Lisa remarked, “There was a sense of peace that came over the house when Yuliia was in charge. She treated Mom with grace, compassion, and an abundance of patience.”

Ray, Kittie’s husband, also deeply appreciated Yuliia’s honesty and confidence. “It can be intimidating to try to re-direct an 82-year-old man,” the family joked, “but Yuliia was never afraid to speak up when she knew a safer or more effective way to help.”

Beyond her exceptional care, Yuliia also brought something special from her heritage—sharing her Ukrainian traditions and delicious homemade meals, which quickly became household favorites.

While Ray and Kittie’s family remains the heart of this month’s spotlight, we also want to share a glimpse into Yuliia’s adventurous spirit. When introduced to a new client Bob, who needed a caregiver willing to bike alongside him while he runs, Yuliia didn’t hesitate. With a smile she said, “I’ll try to keep up with him!” And she’s been with him ever since helping keep him active, safe, and motivated.

Yuliia, you exemplify the very best of what caregiving can be. Thank you for bringing your whole heart to your work and for making such a profound difference in the lives of the families we serve.
